On and off the court, we are proud to look at the "whole child." At Hanzlik Hoops Camp, 215 campers took a Health Huddle Timeout with their teams to focus on anything other than basketball. 👑💛 Research shows that when you have positive social interaction, in addition to social and emotional support, you feel less depressed and more open to talking in the future. 🙌 By starting the habit of engaging in a light-hearted conversation, these campers are building life skills well beyond the game of basketball. 🗣 What was overheard? We'll never tell. But we did hear whispers of superpowers, favorite animals, what they are grateful for, and what the movie of the summer is.
