💥 If you're experiencing discomfort during your backward bends, pay attention to the position of your shoulders relative to your neck. Avoid lifting your shoulders, as this can create tension, pressure, and congestion around the neck. Instead, relax your shoulders and allow your spine to open through the thoracic and cervical regions as you perform the backward bend. Lead with your arms, but be careful not to overextend your shoulders. Remember, the arms assist in the back bend, but the primary focus should be on opening the spine rather than just reaching behind you. 🙏🏽 I look forward to seeing you in class!
