LAPD Says Celeste Rivas Was Dead for Weeks in D4vd’s Tesla Before Discovery⁠ ⁠ Blogged by: Thinktank⁠ ⁠ The LAPD has revealed that the body of 14-year-old #Celeste/Rivas, found inside a Tesla registered to rising music artist #D4vd, may have been there for several weeks before being discovered.⁠ ⁠ LAPD Captain Scot M. Williams told PEOPLE, “We know for sure that Celeste Rivas died and someone placed her body in the front trunk area of David Burke’s Tesla.” Burke, known professionally as D4vd, is a 20-year-old singer who was on tour when the car was found.⁠ ⁠ Authorities said the Tesla had been parked in a Hollywood Hills neighborhood for weeks before a foul odor led residents to call police. The car was towed on September 8th, one day after Celeste’s 15th birthday.⁠ ⁠ The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has not yet determined how she died.
