Today, September 30 is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as #OrangeShirtDay. This day honours the children who never came home from residential schools, the survivors, and their families. It’s a time to reflect on the truth of our shared history and the ongoing work of reconciliation. Through our Indigenous Relations Office, we continue to partner with Indigenous communities to deepen awareness of the history and lived experiences of Indigenous Peoples in Calgary and beyond.
