Officials in Texas have recovered the body of Peyton Hughes, the college kayak fisherman who went missing on Toledo Bend Reservoir on Wednesday. ⁠ ⁠ Texas Game Wardens said in a Facebook post that they had recovered Hughes’ body from the large lake around 7:15 a.m. Friday morning. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department had been leading the search effort, which involved agencies from both Texas and Louisiana.
