Roosterfish can sometimes be picky/choosey eaters..They don’t always just go around devouring like mindless eating machines like they sometimes appear.. It’s fun when you find them on those days though! For the other times, the difference between hooking the dream fish and just seeing him is many times just the right twitch of the bait or lure at the right time to spark that bite. 🙌 I’ve learned this by pretty much spending every day on the beach for years and years during that season watching and trying to understand what makes them want to bite.. Watching them with the drone for hours also helps understand them.. And then comes the execution of what we think we know/learn…When we get good at the perfect execution, our chances go way up and successful catches become much more frequent!
