They say home is where the heart is, and every time I leave South Dakota, I swear I leave a piece of mine behind. My first cross-country motorcycle trip was in 2010 from Florida to South Dakota and instead of hitting the rally the whole time (smart move on my dad’s part since I wasn’t even 18 yet), he took me to the incredible landmarks and historic sites all over the state. Since then, I’ve made the trek back year after year, and it never gets old. Somehow, there’s always something new to discover. Riding these roads is truly a spiritual experience. Come for the party, sure… but stay for the riding, the history, the perspectives, the jaw-dropping scenery. Go for a swim in the lakes, hike the trails, climb the mountains, have a drink at a bar that’s over 100 years old, meet the locals, go off-roading. South Dakota’s possibilities are endless and I still have the itch for more. What should I add to my list for the next South Dakota trip? 🤔 #HiFromSD @travelsouthdakota
