This October in honor of breast cancer awareness month, the volleyball community and Rowan University fall sports are teaming up against cancer to support The Hope Venture Fund benefiting The HEADstrong Foundation through The 2025 PINK OUT campaign. The Hope Venture Fund, led by breast cancer survivor and Rowan University Head Volleyball Coach Deana Jespersen, is a fund which exists in partnership with HEADstrong to raise awareness for breast cancer and funds for those affected by cancer. Volleyball teams from various schools and fall sports at Rowan have raised almost $20,000 together so far and the campaign will continue throughout October. Teams are pledging their performance and hosting a PINK OUT awareness game to continue fundraising and awareness efforts.
