In honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Tuesday, Sept. 30, the Gryphon men's lacrosse team will be wearing jerseys inspired by a mural in the Gryphon Athletics Centre designed by Anishinaabe artist Luke Swinson as they host Laurier. At the game, there will be a resource table with Orange Shirt Day pins and resources for people to learn more about the day's origins and significance. Game time is set for 7pm. Admission is free. Orange shirts can be purchased at the University Bookstore UofgGBookstore, with $5 going to support the Survivors' Secretariat, a non-profit dedicated to sharing the truth about what happened to the children at Mohawk Institute Indian Residential School.
