The Director of ‘The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert’ has revealed that Terence Stamp filmed sequel scenes as the beloved queer icon Bernadette before his death in August this year. The legendary actor, known for his iconic turn as the transgender nightclub performer in the 1994 film, returned to the role for a planned sequel. Director Stephan Elliott told Deadline: “He was 87, turning 88, and I put him through a multi-cam shoot, spread over several grueling sessions… the old trouper gave it everything he had. He hated putting the wig on again. But at the same time, my God, you could have bottled that smile. It was brilliant fun, and he really did have the time of his life.” #TerenceStamp #lgbtqia #Transgender #Priscilla #PriscillaQueenOfTheDesert #filmtok
