bougatsa in Cyprus hit different 🫶☕️ for someone who’s only ever used phyllo pastry out of a box, it was fascinating to see the paper-thin sheets of dough created in front of my very eyes with just two capable human hands! it was a memorable moment of a memorable trip. speaking of… IG story fam knows I was recently in Cyprus to shoot an online dumplings course. (more to come on that real soon!!! 🥟🥟) I was lucky enough to have my good friend irene_matys join me as food stylist. It was a dream come true not only to have her skills and support on set, but to experience her beloved country through her eyes and with her (and her wonderful family). we stayed on after work was wrapped and in total spent 12 days 24/7 together which could have been disastrous 🤭 except it wasn’t because we literally could not be more sympatico 👯 I’ve said it many times but I’ll say it again, thank you for your friendship and welcoming me so warmly in your beautiful homeland Irene-mou 😘💕 p.s.
