🙏 In Memoriam: Dragan “Don” Popović⁠ ⁠ We mourn the passing of a true soccer legend, Don "Pops" Popović (1941–2025). A trailblazer in both outdoor and indoor soccer, Popović starred as a midfielder for the St. Louis Stars and Kansas City Spurs before going on to forge one of the most dominant dynasties in indoor soccer history with the New York Arrows. ⁠ ⁠ His legacy in St. Louis is deep: from helping found Lou Fusz Soccer Club to coaching youth teams to state cup titles, Popović left an indelible mark on our region’s soccer community. ⁠ ⁠ We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched through the beautiful game.
