Junior Gwynnie Hockey knew she wanted to play field hockey when she got the chance. Her older sister played and the majority of her friends played, so she grew up around the sport.  Gwynnie started playing in seventh grade at Pembroke Hill. She transferred to SM East the second semester of freshman year when she realized East didn’t offer field hockey. She heard around that her friends, juniors Campbell Griffin and Mady Hutsell, were thinking about starting a club, so she brought up the idea of field hockey. “I think, being one of the first people to join, it gave me a leadership role in the club,” Hockey said. “I was also the only one in the club who knew how to play.”                                                         To read more, click the link in bio. #storybyvanessablades #designbyadysoncooper #photobylaylalove #socialmediabykennedymoore
