1 in 3 Canadian youth experience dating violence This is not just a statistic—it’s a reality that impacts young people across our communities. Early education and intervention are key to breaking the cycle. Three CFL teams, torontoargos, cflredblacks and hamiltontigercats have teamed up with intervalhouseofhamilton and mentoraction to raise awareness on Coaching Boys Into Men (CBIM) program. CBIM equips coaches and mentors with the tools to have critical conversations with boys about respect, healthy relationships, and non-violence. It’s about shaping future leaders—on and off the field. They are calling on sports teams, schools, and community organizations to make free programs like CBIM part of their curriculum. Because prevention starts with education, and every young person deserves to feel safe in their relationships.
