๐ The Mole Costruzione Artigianale 001 is a one-off coachbuilt creation based on the Alfa Romeo 4C, unveiled in 2018 by Up Design and Adler Group.
While the 4C already carried a lightweight carbon tub and turbocharged 1.75-liter engine, the Mole project reimagined it entirely, wrapping the chassis in new handmade bodywork and a more luxurious interior.
The result looked more like a boutique Italian supercar than the compact mid-engine sports car it started as.
Stylistically, it replaced the 4Cโs simple curves with bold sculpting, wide hips, a vented rear deck, and sleek teardrop-style taillights.
Inside, leather and bespoke details elevated what had been a minimalist cockpit. Performance remained close to the donor carโs ~237 horsepower and sub-4.5-second 0โ60 capability, but the focus was on craftsmanship and exclusivity rather than chasing numbers.
