Temple Sheriff Station has launched a pilot program aimed at improving service to our community. As part of this initiative, a Temple Station deputy is assigned exclusively to inmate transportation responsibilities. This assignment includes transporting inmates from the field, completing booking documentation, obtaining hospital medical clearances, and delivering inmates to the Inmate Reception Center in downtown Los Angeles. By designating one deputy to oversee these duties, additional deputies remain available in the field to respond to calls for service more efficiently.
