Even on one of the most politicized topics – abortion – Republican Gov. Spencer Cox and Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham of New Mexico found common ground. “Abortion is an issue on which we disagree passionately. And yet, even though we have these very strong – it looks like a chasm between us – I think we would both agree that we should be doing more to take care of single moms,” says Cox.
