🚨A disturbing new report from Femicide Census reveals that more women in the UK were killed by their sons than by strangers. This finding is a stark reminder that violence against women extends beyond intimate partner violence. Of the 121 women killed by men that year, the majority were killed by current or former intimate partners, but the significant number killed by adult sons highlights a largely invisible form of domestic violence that receives little public attention or resources. For every woman killed by her son, there are many others enduring serious violence and abuse.
