In June, 50 reproductive justice defenders came together in Tanzania, marking a groundbreaking milestone in the country’s movement for sexual and reproductive health and rights. In Tanzania, abortion access is heavily restricted and maternal mortality is high. But our grantee partners are working together to change this. Over three days, feminist leaders explored the roots of reproductive injustice in Tanzania, unpacked legal and structural barriers for abortion access, and envisioned a unified movement grounded in solidarity and collective power. ✊🏿 The result?
