DEVILS WIN! The Devils have defeated the Rangers tonight by a score of 3-1 in their penultimate preseason game! Pretty low event hockey for most of this one and the shots on goal show that. On the Devils side they registered just 12 shots on goal in total all night, not ideal for a full 60 minutes of hockey but they grab the win! Jacob Markstrom played the full 60 minutes in goal and stopped 20 of 21 shots faced! The Devils goals were scored by Paul Cotter, Ondej Palat, and Dawson Mercer (ENG), and New Jersey improved to 3-2-1 in the preseason! One game to go before it counts for real, that’ll be Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia taking on the Flyers at 12:30PM.
