Day 3 of Legacy Week brought another wave of energy into our studios as our Trainees pushed deeper into their classes. From ballet to jazz and contemporary, each rehearsal carried the imprint of the Joffrey legacy—demanding precision, but also inviting dancers to take risks and discover new dimensions of their artistry. With every correction, every phrase, and every moment of rehearsal, our dancers were reminded that they are part of a living lineage, one that values both the preservation of tradition and the pursuit of innovation. Legacy Week is not only about looking back at history, but also about recognizing how that history is carried forward through today’s aspiring professionals.
