The 2025 Joffrey Ballet School Legacy Week has officially begun! Across our Ballet and Jazz & Contemporary Trainee tracks, and in both our Manhattan and Long Island City locations, the studios were buzzing as we launched a week dedicated to honoring our past and inspiring our future. Through a full day of classes taught by generations of dancers, many of whom trained directly with Robert Joffrey and Gerald Arpino; our students experienced more than just technique. They heard the stories behind the steps, felt the artistry that shaped the Joffrey style, and connected their own training to the dancers who came before them, bringing our school’s legacy to life in every combination. At midday, we hosted the very first Community Hour of Legacy Week, bringing together our Jazz & Contemporary Trainees for an inspiring conversation.
