“You were born with the ability to change someone’s life.” Hearing so many stories of what an incredible human Aaron Clark was, reminded me of that quote. A man who served our country as a United States Marine and dedicated 17 years to saving the lives of New Yorkers as a Member of the FDNY. From talking with so many people, it seems Aaron made such an impact on people lives. This was the first funeral I have attended of a Member. Even though I didn’t have the chance to meet Aaron, it was so moving and sad to witness. I showed up to be a support to so many friends I have made along this journey. Seeing everyone whom I know at Rescue 1 carrying the casket of their brother was gut wrenching. I hope this is the last one for a very long time. fdnyfirediary #FDNY #firefighter #rescue1
