As someone who grew up swimming, Katie Ledecky was one of my biggest role models. She’s also been open about her journey with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)—a condition I was diagnosed with at nine years old. I was often told it would hold me back, but having a role model like Ledecky, who not only refuses to let it define her but is quite literally the best in the world, has meant more than words can say. I’m so grateful for a job that allows me to share stories of truly inspiring people like her!
