This weekend, as we #BTHOAuburn, Emma Okawara '23, made her way back to College Station — a place she will always call home. As a first-generation Aggie, Emma’s journey started in 2017 when she visited campus with her sister and instantly felt a sense of belonging. For Emma, Texas A&M is more than her alma mater; it’s where she discovered a community built on action, shared traditions and meaningful connection. Wherever she goes, Emma wears her Aggie ring not just as a symbol, but as a reminder of the Core Values she carries with her wherever she goes. Every time she comes back to campus, it’s a return to the heart of #Aggieland — a place defined by purpose, leadership and a focus on making a positive impact.
