Clemson University- STRIDE would like to celebrate/recognize two outstanding award recipients at Clemson University’s annual College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences fall faculty meeting, who were honored for their contributions. Dr. Fatemeh Afghah, an associate professor of electrical and computer engineering and STRIDE STRP (Seed Translation Research Project) recipient, received the "McQueen Quattlebaum Faculty Achievement Award". This award recognizes faculty accomplishments from the past year and honors distinctions and awards earned over the past three years. Meanwhile, Dr. Apparao Rao, Bowen Professor of Physics and Astronomy, was honored with the "Collaboration Award" alongside Dr. Morteza Sabet. This award highlights faculty whose collaborations in research or teaching have made notable contributions to the college, Esin Gulari Leadership and Service Award.
