🚨 Juvenile Carjacking Suspect with Alleged Gang Ties Apprehended in less than 24 hours🚨 Last night around 6:45 PM, deputies from Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station responded to a carjacking near Ridge Route Road in Castaic, where the victim reported being confronted by an armed suspect who stole his vehicle and fled the scene. With the assistance of Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Juvenile and Gang Detectives, and in coordination with Fresno PD, the juvenile suspect, an alleged gang member, was located and safely taken into custody in Northen California. A loaded “ghost gun” was recovered from the stolen vehicle. The suspect, who is not a local resident, was transported back to SCV by our Deputies and booked at Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station, where all evidence was secured.
