Starting the first competition of the season off with a 🥉 today. Normally I wouldn’t be smiling at that color medal but I’m proud of myself for how I battled today on my own. Nobody but myself to hold accountable and that’s the best feeling ever. I was free, relaxed, dangerous and back to having fun. This is exactly what I wanted to do and the direction I want the season to go. It’s always a pleasure battling you Gerek and congrats on the 🥇. For all the non fencing fans, this event today had 270 fencers. 8 hours later, 5 T-shirt changes later and we are finally done. Now we rest, recover and get right back too it.
