We honored three great graduates of the Class of 1950 during today’s schoolwide Mass celebrating the Feast of St. Borgia, S.J.
Ron Ahrens ’50, Joe Scully ’50 and Joe Basil ’50 were introduced by President Fr. David Ciancimino, S.J., and received a standing ovation from a capacity audience in Scaccia Auditorium upon their receiving a CHS Diamond Diploma marking the 75th anniversary of their graduation.
“These three men epitomize the admirable virtues of fidelity, excellence, humility and generosity,” said Ciancimino, “ideals that we strive to live each day at Canisius.”
Families and students interested in the benefits of being part of Western New York’s best alumni network and the excellence only found in a Jesuit education at Canisius – ranked as the Buffalo area’s “Best Catholic School” by Business First – can learn more by reserving a spot at our Open House on Sunday or Monday via
