October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this month’s In The Mood is all about pink. It is a color I chose as a tribute to the strength, courage, and resilience of those impacted by this disease. Most of us know someone who has faced the challenges of breast cancer, and this month is a reminder to support one another, spread awareness, and take care of our health. On a lighter note, October is shaping up to be a vibrant and exciting month. We’re in the final stages of preparing for Kips Bay Dallas kbshowhouse, and I am eagerly counting down to opening day, November 7 through 23. I am also so looking forward to heading to Oxford, Mississippi for a book signing at the Lagniappe on October 14 from 4:00 to 6:30pm, where I hope to see many of my Mississippi friends. Back in Houston, we’ll be welcoming the talented Andrew Howard andrewjhow for a book signing at Paloma & Co shoppalomaandco on October 16.
