We are Lynyrd Skynyrd Monument, Inc. (LSM) and we still remember October 20, 1977 because we were here... and we won't forget. This is our personal invitation to visit this important part of rock history. A seven-ton black granite monument, dedicated to the memory of those who died and those who lived through the crash over 42 years ago of our America's rock band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, is a lasting reminder not only of the band, but also the people who stepped up to help save the twenty crash survivors. We are a registered 501.c.3 non profit and Mississippi Corporation dedicated to maintaining a lasting connection between the band and those that came to their rescue, the people that they continue to inspire throughout the world and this site.
