Many areas in South
#Lebanon, particularly along the border, remain without access to safe water. The damage to critical infrastructure runs deep, and the path to recovery is still long.
In coordination with the South Lebanon Water Establishment (SLWE), and thanks to funding from the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF) and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), we’ve been working to restore water services—step by step.
This includes repairing networks, rehabilitating pumping stations, restoring filters, and rebuilding solar fields. So far, we have helped over 58,000 people. But the needs remain vast.
As our teams on the ground explain: it’s not just about clean water. It’s about restoring dignity and essential services to families who have been forced to flee their homes.
