When Priscilla Chan told Mark Zuckerberg she wanted a minivan, he didn’t head to a dealership. Instead, he turned the request into a Porsche project.
In October, the Meta CEO revealed on Instagram that he designed a one-of-a-kind Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Minivan. With help from West Coast Customs, the luxury SUV was stretched, fitted with sliding doors, and equipped with a third row of seats.
The idea was to create something practical for family life while keeping the performance and style of a Porsche. Zuckerberg described it as a “side quest,” but the end result looks more like a full-blown design experiment.
And because one wasn’t enough, he made it a set. Alongside the custom minivan, he bought a Porsche 911 GT3 Touring in the same Crayon gray color, turning the pair into a matching “his-and-hers” garage.
The move fits Zuckerberg’s pattern of big, symbolic gestures. Earlier in the year, he even commissioned a marble statue of his wife inspired by Roman traditions.
