Tec Inc was present at Laketran's Wickliffe Transit Center today for a ribbon cutting, presenting the new electrified bus station charging station! The new Wickliffe Transit Center houses two en-route charging stations for the new electric bus fleet, indoor and outdoor waiting spaces, public restrooms, bike racks, improved arrival information, and four electric vehicle charging stations for public access. Tec Inc also provided engineering services for the lobby area, public restrooms, storage areas and mechanical/ electrical operating rooms. The new bus station will include an electrified connection in the canopy for charging the electric busses. Laketran's new battery-operated vehicles will transition 60% of their local route bus fleet to zero emission vehicles! Tec Inc was pleased to be a part of this monumental project.
