Trans non-binary Olympian Nikki Hiltz has clapped back at critics of their top surgery post, with a hilarious use of Taylor Swift’s song ‘actually romantic’. In a video using the Swift song – which came out on Friday and is rumored to be a response to Charli XCX’s ‘Sympathy is a knife’ – Hiltz posted clips of them running to their social media pages with screenshot overlays of hate comments they received following their post about news of their top surgery. The Team USA runner underwent top surgery after the Paris Games on September 13 2024, and shared the procedure with followers as part of efforts to help normalise gender-affirming care. At the time of the original post, the athlete wrote: “Since September, I’ve been so happy in my body.
