The Check-In Stop #5: Rutgers University team_chaching, nayathagreat, and I got to catch this season's Rutgers- Seton Hall rivalry game, called the Garden State Hardwood Classic. Both of Rutgers' star players/freshmen, dylharpp(24 pts) and acebailey(21 pts), were huge factors in RU's win as SHU fought to the end. The energy was high in Jersey Mike's Arena, especially second half when Rutgers finally obtained the lead for the 1st time in the game. After 10 lead changes and 4 ties, Dylan made sure that Garden State Hardwood Classic trophy stayed at Rutgers by hitting a buzzer-beating 3- pointer to win the game(the last RU game winning buzzer-beater was by his bro., ron.harper.jr , VS Purdue in 2021). This was our first and last time seeing Dylan and Ace play in this NJ rivalry game as they have entered the '25 NBA Draft.
