During Women's History Month I was invited, alongside other amazing women connected to basketball, to speak on a panel and be a guest coach during the inaugural peaceplayers_us Girls Summit. We spoke about some of our journeys and experiences before participating in the event's PeacePlayers x New York Liberty In-House Tourney(s/o to to being paired up w/ coach_ta9 and Team #2 🏆💃🏽😁💪🏽) The 2 day event brought together 26 inspiring young women involved in the PeacePlayers' program from Baltimore, Brooklyn, Chicago, Detroit, and Los Angeles to experience & learn different things through leadership workshops, community-building activities, and other impactful activities.
