🇨🇦 RECAP – Day 9 Canada wraps up the World Para Athletics Championships with a flurry of medals! 🥇🥈🥉 🥉 Austin Smeenk opened the day with BRONZE in the T34 800m. Renee Foessel finished 5th in the F38 Discus with a best throw of 30.76m. Chloe Dunbar ran 26.29 in Heat 2 of the T47 200m semi-finals, but did not advance. Sheriauna Haase clocked a Season’s Best 25.69 in Heat 1, advanced to the final, and placed 8th in the T47 200m. In the T38 1500m, Nate Tucker stormed to 🥇 GOLD in 3:57.98, while Liam Stanley finished 7th in 4:07.31. 🥈 Closing out the Championships, Marissa Papaconstantinou raced to SILVER in the T64 200m finals with a time of 27.02!
