Musical Monsters :) . Back again recreating more character sounds from the mobile game My Singing Monsters! This time I thought it would be fun to layer all the characters together to create a groove. I love this game because it’s an easy and accessible way for people (especially young people) to get in touch with their inner musicality. . Doing all the drum sound effects work over the past few years has changed my approach to other instruments as well. I just love discovering new sounds – like that little trick I’m doing here with my thumb on the bass. Slide your thumbnail against the string and crank the volume knob up at the same time to create that cool effect! . These aren’t exactly how the characters sound in the game – it’s more my personal take on it, especially at the end there haha. A little sauce for the drummers in the crowd.
