Ye then took to Instagram his side of things stating that: • adidas have been releasing Yeezy models & colorways without his approval • adidas Adilette Slides are a straight jab to Ye & his Yeezy Slides • adidas created “Yeezy Day” without his consent, as a money grab (Along with plenty of other wild takes about their management, executives, political stance & Yeezy line) On the other hand, Adidas is not the first brand that has took a hyped shoe/model/collection, re-worked the design and made it as a more affordable option to help supply the demand that the original item has created.
