Goaltender Nico Daws has officially cleared waivers and will be assigned to Utica (AHL) to begin the season with the Comets alongside Jakub Malek, Tyler Brennan, and Georgi Romanov, who are all at Training Camp with the Comets currently. A reminder that once a player clears waivers, they do not need to clear again for 30 days or 10 NHL games, whichever comes first. Therefore, Daws does not need to pass through until October 29th should he be recalled before then.
