Just like neighborhoods are coming back to life in Cooley, Detroit’s alleys have been getting a fresh start too. This summer, Deputy Mayor Melia Howard joined neighbors in Southwest Detroit to cut the ribbon on the new Bagley Arts Alley. Part of the City’s Arts Alley initiative, this space now serves as a vibrant gathering spot celebrating the many cultures that make Southwest Detroit shine.
