Legacy Week Faculty Spotlight: Matthew Prescott⁠ ⁠ This week, we are honored to feature Matthew Prescott, Artistic Director of several of our Summer Intensives, which span the worlds of musical theater, ballet, jazz, contemporary, and even circus arts. A graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy, Matthew’s career has taken him across concert dance, Broadway, and beyond.⁠ ⁠ As a performer, he has danced with companies including The Joffrey Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet, BalletX, and Morphoses/The Wheeldon Company, among many others. His choreography has been presented by Complexions, Chamber Dance Project, BalletX, and the Joffrey Ballet School, reflecting his dynamic range and creative vision.⁠ ⁠ Matthew also made his Broadway debut in The Phantom of the Opera and served as Resident Choreographer for the national tour of Billy Elliot the Musical.
