Sean Swikle x WILLIAMSLENSES | Glen Arbor, MI | August 2024 - It’s weird looking back on these images now living in Michigan and feeling like it’s been forever since I’ve done a shoot with Sean (new work soon). I appreciate that when I work with Sean I don’t feel the need to do overcomplicated planning, as I find myself straying into within this new time in grad school. - The traffic sign in the first image is a clue to something new coming, and relates to why I met Sharon in Ohio. These images bring me lots of peace, one because the skirt was from J. Spiller at G&C and also because I just adore these images. The wet suit/jump suit/fisherman suit is now a part of the To Play A Pawn collection so lives in infamy in my archive. So fun, right? Sustainable, circular, nothing should ever go to waste. - Shot on the shore of Lake Michigan looking at the Manitou Islands and spontaneously on the side of the road, I like how the Michiganders set up their streets.
