The sophomore opened with a two-under 70—his best round of the fall and followed with a one-under 71 for a 36-hole total of 141 (-3). He captured the tournament crown by six strokes over the runner-up, marking the first collegiate victory of his career. Matias Contreras ( albrighttennis ) improved to 4-0 in singles play with straight-set victories at No. 1 singles in both matches of the week.
