This morning, our Upper Division participated in a special ceremony to commemorate the two-year anniversary of October 7.🎗    Students wore yellow ribbons to express hope for the immediate return of the hostages, participated in a short ceremony, and lit memorial candles for the victims.    Outside of the Upper Division building stand two meaningful displays. One is a long holiday table with a name of a hostage (living and deceased) that remains in Gaza on each seat. The second is a mock “migunit” (shelter) that resembles the one located at the Re’im Junction, where around 30 of the Nova festival-goers sought safety.    We honor and remember our brothers and sisters in Israel, and pray for more peaceful days to come.    #denverjewishdayschool #djds #bringthemhomenow #sukkot
