thank you sosososo much to everyone that came out to the senior capstone reception last night, honestly still riding the high and am filled with eternal gratitude <333 (⋈◍＞◡＜◍)。✧♡ AND IT’S OPEN UNTIL MARCH 18 AT THE ANDERSON! ⭐️ ok it’s (obv) yapping time! ٩(^ᴗ^)۶ anyone that knows me knows i have a lot of critiques about vcu and art school and often feel like i don’t fit in despite being in a place technically made for people that don’t fit in — my art is overly conceptual for class but also my work life is super corporate and it feels like i’m in constant limbo. however, getting the chance to really say f*ck everyone else im doing what i want, as overly conceptual/confusing/contemporary/wtf as i want, has been so liberating and made me appreciate creating a body of art in a way that i haven’t felt in a long time. while i love working in the music/entertainment industry, i wanted to use my undergrad project as a way to capture my overarching investigation across most of my works in ar...
