As part of your Zoo’s commitment to our Strategic Plan for 2025-2027, and knowing the need to foster continued awareness of wildlife conservation, we plan on connecting every student in Toronto, York and Durham communities with conservation science experiences - making memories that will last a lifetime. In fact, the new Toronto Zoo Community Conservation Centre, complete with Blanding’s turtle breeding facilities and classroom space for the University of Toronto Scarborough utsc will open in late 2026 - serving the near 1.5 million guests we will soon have at your Zoo.
