This #WorldTeachersDay, we celebrate and honor all the educators working to strengthen the bonds between students and the ocean that sustains us all. 💙 Earlier this year, we had the privilege of convening an Education Summit with spc_cps, bringing together educators, curriculum specialists, and education ministers from 14 Pacific nations to focus on ocean literacy. Rooted in traditional ocean knowledge and complemented with scientific research, filmmaking, and exploration, we collectively worked to develop engaging and effective science teaching resources for use throughout the region.
