I've moved over to Dunlop for strings!!! Over the past 6 months I have struck up a great relationship with the jimdunlopusa company, and among many other things, decided to try their strings. They sound and feel amazing, and come in a vast assortment of gauges. They actually make, I believe, 4 different sets of 11-56 with varying gauges for the in between strings. Unprecedented level of choice for my sort've niche C Standard setup. All of the bases are covered for the stringed instrument players of the BDM as well as for my higher tuned playing at home and for my Shred Light District lessons.
Most frequent question I get asked is probably "What strings do you use?", right up there with "what scale is that?"...so here is the updated answer.

11-56 in C std
Pictured here are the standard 11-56 set (exact gauges I was playing previously) and the 11-56 Drop C set which is slightly lighter in between. I haven't definitively settled yet but...
